Hong Kong’s climate is sub-tropical. In winter, from January
to March, the weather is cool and occasionally wet so be prepared,
and from spring through summer - April to September, typically
hot and rainy – pack an umbrella! During the autumn, October
to December, the weather is pleasantly sunny and dry and only
a light jacket or sweater is recommended. The rainy season
generally starts in May and lasts until September. In summer
and early autumn the area has monsoon winds and there may
be typhoons occasionally.
